The melody and chord progression don't suck either. Where the song becomes questionable are the verses. Its lyrically awkward and although the song has grown on me immensely I still consider it lyrically awkward. And I feel like its lack of a bridge makes it lack a punch that it could've had had it had one.

It did, but this was a long time ago. People claimed her career was over around that time too.

I think we're more liberal with stuff like that so Sex Dreams won't cause as much of a backlash. She'll still get the backlash (I mean, I feel like Gaga always does) but it won't be as momentous as Erotica was.
