First you said Avril is prettier than Madonna was a century ago, now this. No offense they're all pretty girls, but some were/are sex symbols and the others aren't for a reason
Being a sex symbol doesn't mean you're prettier or hotter. A lot of it's to do with image really and neither Avril or Taylor's image is crafted around sex. Their just naturally beautiful girls. Beyonce is beautiful too even if she's aged badly and Madonna was always average and now looks like Gollum's scary older sister.
The only thing that brings it down are those lyrics, but the production is wonderful and there are some great hooks too. It's evident that Gaga is still not aware of her (many) weaknesses as a songwriter
Gaga is better at crafting melodies and hooks that she is writing actual lyrics. It's annoying because she has so many songs with really gorgeous hooks and awkwardly written choruses that grate against each other.
But with a platter of mediocre records - which fall, regrettably, in the month of Mileygate - she is, despite all the Applause, just another attraction at the zoo.
