What Gaga serves is basic. It's just the whole persona which fools you into thinking she's not basic.
I'm upset in 2013 people still fall for her gimmicks.
Yet again, it wasn't Gaga's own decision to release Applause.

I just watched the performances. The audio was crappy as hell so I will wait till the album comes out. She was very energetic and it was a good session overall (I guess). The songs are not doing it for me, it might be because of the audio quality but I struggled to finish every video, I found them boring. Sounds very BTW-esque mixed with Zedd's typical and overused sound.
Gaga stans are going to love whatever she drops them so, nothing to do there.

I did like the set though. That song with the euphoric electric beat ballad-type song was good.
Bey's discography is more basic than Gaga's though. I mean, I Am... SF (her most global album, still not as successful as gaga, rih, britney or katy their biggest albums though) is arguably safer than any Katy Perry album.
