I thought the original was great and i suppose this version is okay, but it sounds really robotic and overproduced to me. I already downloaded the album when it leaked in May but I was going to still buy it when it came out in the US. Amerie will probably never have a huge fanbase in the States. I'm not an R&B music fan but Amerie has been my exception to that rule. I bought All I Have and Touch and I'm sure Because I Love It will sell the same as Kelis or Kelly Rowland's last album which isn't great but it's modest. Th original version of this is much, MUCH better though and I think they should stick w/ that for the US release.

I love her! Its just she isnt that much popular in the US! I love her singles! Very addicting!

amerie is pretty much my favorite artist of all time.
because i love it such a great album and it needs to be promoted in the states.
her music is so different, 80's, go-go, smooth, fun, R&B. i just love it.
she doesn't really follow the crowd and she creates her own sound.
the new version of CRUSH is absolutely amazing.
i'm glad she's starting to do stuff now.. like that new single with chingy and now this.
i hope she releases because i love it here sooooon!
