Miley overshadowed every VMA performance that night with her try hard attempt at provocation. Every bit of attention shes getting is overwhelmingly negative and I can't imagine how thats going to help her in the long run. Shes universally panned right now. Gaga is slowly redeeming herself, she has to break down the barrier that was built with people because of Born This Way and shes very much succeeding. So Mileys overshadowed her short term, but Gaga's still Gaga.
