1. Maybe we shouldn't all hate the song before even hearing it. I bet nobody was expecting a bona fide classic when they heard "I'm A Slave 4 U" would be the title of the third lead single. So jump ship now if you want, but it seems like a premature move.
2. Maybe this isn't an example of the more personal sound that Britney has been teasing. Do all 11-13 tracks have to be that way? The lead single is designed to make a splash. This album's "Everytime" might be single #2. Sorry this campaign isn't being run exactly the way you had constructed it in your mind.
3. The radio isn't going to forego playing the song because of its title. It'll be read on air as "Werk" and "bitch" will be modified or censored out in the actual song. And guess what? People will be talking about it. Radio is NOT going to just ignore the lead single from a Britney album these days. It's too big of an event.
All these people who are claiming it's not 'mature' or anything, am I missing something? Like have y'all heard it?
You guys sound threatened already. I KNOW Britney is bringing her fire, because they wouldn't name that song 'Werk Bitch' for nothing. I'm hella excited, I'm SO hyped for what my fave's gonna bring.
I just hope the choreo matches the song. I really do.
