Leona Lewis has channelled David Bowie in a new Instagram photo.
The 'Bleeding Love' singer is seen posing on a sofa while wearing a blue suit and tie, and Bowie's iconic ziz-zag face pattern from the Aladdin Sane era.
Posting the photo on Instragram, Lewis wrote: "If I were a boy... I'd be Bowie."
Lewis has spoken about her love for Bowie in the past, describing him as a big influence on her career.
She named her 2010 'The Labyrinth' tour after the classic fantasy movie of the same name, in which Bowie stars as the Goblin King.
Speaking last year to The Independent, she said: "David Bowie is such a big influence to me. Everything about him as a person is intriguing to me."
Leona Lewis will release a Motown-inspired Christmas album later this year.

Oh geezzz, pressed much. That picture is from 2010.
Let's be honest here, I like leona but she just isn't interesting enough, which is why she keeps trying to reinvent herself constantly, but it doesn't work, no matter how hard she tries, Simon cowell moved on to to bigger things like One Direction and even Alexandra Burke and left poor Leona

Mess at most of this statement being true of gp's opinion of her
-------
She'll do well if ballads start slaying radio again

She isn't reinventing herself. She wore that thing once on Perez Hilton's birthday party it's not that she wants to be the next Lady Gaga ......... far from.
Simon Cowell, didn't move on to One Direction. Cowell told Leona to record a Christmas album.
Simon didn't move on to AB either, she left Syco.

Simon Cowell is her A&R guy she has an Xmas Album coming out and she is worth 12 million Pounds. $19 Million US DOLLARS. She is far from poor.

The thing is that her label never put enough faith in her. Leona has been releasing ballads and the same kind of midtempo's since her debut and such songs always become singles for her era's.
Yet when she tries something out of the box, in comparison to her own other music, her label pulls it back asap. Collide reached #4, yet they pushed the album back for like a year. They tried to use the same ballad/midtempo strategy again with Hurt, Trouble and Lovebird (Collide still charted better than those), while homegirl has enough other material to show diversity and put interest in her. Glassheart had diverse songs like Come Alive, Glassheart, Sugar, Shake You Up etc.
But Syco/RCA aren't daring with her, they put her into a box and she is so much more than that. Leona still has the potential to be big, but she needs to get more freedom and trust.
You can't get "interesting" if people put you in a certain "template" for years.
It isn't about Simon "moving on" it's about Simon and co. wanting her to be a one trick pony to a big extend the last years.

Leona wanted to end this era.
That's the only lie in this post, everything else is pure truth spilling out the crack of my tea pot.
Yes, after Lovebird was handled badly she doidn't want to continue. She did the tour and was told my Simon to make a Christmas album because of the headlines about her and Emeli coming for a Christmas #1 the previous year. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/enterta...n-xmas-1327558
