the examples you listed weren't exactly good ones, but most of the people on here have strange fantasies that combat tumblr and fanfiction.net i swear so that's probably why. they just want a shot so they'll take what they can get.

The reason a lot of atrler's throw around this stereotype could be either for joking, which is hard to get across through a comment at times. Nut a lot of the times it's because they have limited experiences in life. I mean I remember reading a thread on how tips they knew someone was gay and many said if they were nice or reads books, liked certain songs etc.... it meant you liked the same sex. It's just very immature imo and like some say they slept with straight men, it just doesn't make any damn sense.

I also agree with you many are just either lacking in a partner or they are just sexually deprived. A lot can't express themselves so bodly in their personal life, so when they come on here it all reigns out
