Old receipts  stop living in the past like the Avril, Ciara, Cyndi, Ace of Base, Alanis, stans and move on  also, Gaga doesn't even have a Hollywood star so Katy automatically wins this battle

It's not the only way to judge it because receipts from 3 years ago are still current and CURRENTLY Gaga is ******** all over Katy WW as usual

MDNA opened with 700K WW which is more than anything Katy, Rihanna and a few others ever have opened with. Sure MDNA turned out to be an underperformance but first week sales tend to be a huge indicator of A-list star power and since Gaga broke MDNA's record of going #1 with preorders in the most countries, I assume that gaga will open with high numbers as well. The fact that Prism peaked at #7 on iTunes USA while ARTPOP peaked at #2 (in the first 2-3 hours), the fact that ARTPOP was #1 for six days on kworb.net/aww while Prism peaked at #2 (and is already declining) answers the question in this thread

How are reciepts from 3 years ago current in a question who's bigger as of now? As of now, Katy is ******** all over Gaga WW. The question isn't, "who was bigger 3 years ago?", it's "who's bigger now?". And as the WW reciepts show, Katy is

Monsters keep clinging to TFM receipts when in reality that was the only era Gaga outdid Katy
Ever since then they've been neck to neck (except for touring, I'll give that to Gaga) and Katy seems to have taken the lead recently

Because 3 years ago isn't 30 years ago, it's current, ESPECIALLY since they didn't even release albums yet for this era.
And no she is not, Gaga is still bigger than Katy WW, Roar doing better than Applause on kworb.net isn't chancing anything. You are trying hard though
