No, based on their last eras it's not surprising Roar is outselling Applause 2:1.

Gaga's starpower, the one that brought in the 66% increase in ratings at the VMAs, the one that gives her over $400M in career money for tours, the one that sold double the amount of albums WW than Katy

(even with less successful singles in the US)

Please stop. It's one single and there will never be a case when Katy Perry is more important than Lady Gaga. You Katy Kats and haters finally come out of the cracks and crevices once Katy does better and MTN flops. Your fave has always been a singles artist and Gaga is tour, album, and somewhat singles artist. That's the only thing that matters.

Wrong again. Katy's album literally JUST got released for pre-order, she ain't selling more than a few copies when being compared to Gaga, especially on a WW scale

GaGa's albums been out for preorder for nearly 3 weeks and it's at #8, Katys has been out since sunday and is at 4, I'd hardly call that obliterating

And Gaga and Katy have the same amount in the industry, yet Gaga has achieved FIVE TIMES what Katy has in the same amount of time? More album sales, more critical acclaim, more fans, a LOT more money, not to mention Gaga made 4 times what Katy made on tour with an UNFINISHED tour. The fact that Katy can sell more $1.29 songs than Gaga is completely irrelevant when Gaga completely obliterates Katy in ALL OTHER areas.

Gaga's on a whole other level and you can really see it in those rehearsal videos she's posting. Even Applause is on another level, the video, performance, and song.
