Yeah, it sucks that those select people do give us that reputation

I was just saying that I consistently experience the same "I know better than you about your diet" from non-veggies too, blegh. It's on both sides.
Actually from my experience, the vegetarians and vegans who act like that are all the ones who have recently converted. Probably because they've been eating meat for so long, and now they think they have this big ~revelation~ to share.
I knew this one girl who became a vegetarian senior year of HS, and she would always act like that... but then she'd also complain about how "hard" it was, make sure everyone knew about it, and I would just say "bitch please it is not hard, I've been eating like this for almost my whole life and you're complaining after just a few weeks

I also rarely announce my diet to the whole world, like it's so unnecessary

I only ever mention it if someone questions what I'm eating.
