I definitely applaud her for that..her duchess era was practically flawless in promotion..Nothing overdone..just steady..

I think "Break the Ice" is a very good single choice and should help the album's momentum at least for a few months...of course the next few months are going to be hard for Brit because several big female stars are releasing albums, Celine and Alicia later this month and then Madonna, Janet, Whitney, Mariah, Sheryl Crow, Alanis, Jewel, Natasha Bedingfield will all be releasing albums very early next year. Even still, this album stands a good chance of going platinum before the new year. yerboylc3, it's a shame that Rihanna hasn't hit platinum yet but do you really think GGGB can sell more than Blackout?? I'm not so sure about that. Of course the holidays are going to help Britney too.

Holiday sales coupled with good singles and promotion could possible give Brit very good sales again. She;s britney. That alone will give the album some momentum.

Seriously...her people handled this perfectly! Too bad Beyonce didnt handle her album as well, she had the songs to make it a smash, but she released the wrong singles and at the wrong times...GMB, UU, Irre., and GL should have been the singles...and I think in that order too...
