Even if Zedd doesn't make it, there's also Kacey Musgraves (depending on how the NARAS counts her past, non-mainstream albums), A$AP Rocky, Icona Pop, The Weeknd, Phillip Phillips, and perhaps even Jessie Ware, all of whom probably have better chances than Grande.

Bruno won Male Vocal in 2011 for "Just the Way You Are" and was nominated in all three major categories in 2012. I was thinking he could be a threat to JT, but I feel that his momentum has slowed down while JT's has remained steady.
