It's just that some fans want her to tie Mariah's record for 3 #1 debuts. The only way that can happen is with the second single being released the week before the album a la Circus or TTWE [even though it was released like 3 weeks before the album, but you get my point] and there being no MAJOR competition [Katy probably won't be #1 by the end of November, assuming that the album is released Dec. 2 and the single the week before in Nov.].
