The insult was real.
True, but as I stated before, different experiences. The area I grew up in, if you were a Lesbian, hardly anything negative came your way. I was just expressing what happens around me; I'm not trying to apply that to every where else (as I know myself that isn't true). Most of the negative comments and rude and harsh things were done towards the Gays/Bi.
Do you see where I'm coming from?

No I understand where you are coming from and agree with a lot of your points. I was just adding that only in certain conditions lesbians are truly accepted. Also I relate being bisexual and a man is some hardship

Lipstick lesbians "acceptance" from straight men isn't even really acceptance, it's them being okay with it because it turns them on. When a straight man says he's okay with two hot chicks getting married, it's not because he has respect for their relationship, it's because it fulfills his fantasy.

I see that now. It was a misunderstanding on my part; apologies.

While we're on the topic of Bisexuality, why is that men get the most flack for it, but with a woman, not many say much? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm just basing it off of what I've seen/heard. A male being bisexual (in the minds of bigots) is just as real as a three dollar bill, yet a woman can say it, and people will believe her and may even relish in her claim.
Has anyone else had this happen around you, or am I the only one?

I have dated two bisexual guys in the past and one was a total sweetheart and treated me good.
He told me how he wasn't sure on how to tell me if he was bisexual or not but he liked and respected me so much that he wanted to be honest about it.
He used to get judged so much from gay guys saying he wasn't bi or he was just greedy.
Its really a shame.

IMO it's not fair all the way around lgbt people get treated. I'm going to admit me being bisexual and more masculine might have ppl be more content being around me. But I'm still going to get disrespected by the same ppl like everybody else, so it's not too much better by any means

It's institutionalized misogyny! A guy being anything less than "manly" is grotesque, but women making out on adult films for men to watch is hot. What the ****. How is one gross and the other hot?!

It all depends I guess..Like someone else pointed out, it's just because straight (pig) men love the idea of two hot women, and if that women also likes guys then it's perfect because they will be open for threesomes...I'm just going off of opinion haha I have no real idea on the matter of who get's more flack and why

Bisexual men get harsh judgement because its rebelling against the straight man status quo. The fact one of us in the relationship dare fill in the submissive role during sex, which in their mind compare to a woman. Is why many are so against it, and instantly assume many of us are feminine (wven tho nothings wrong with it). I also think because of the HIV scare decades back anything associated with gay men was seen as ****ty, disgusting and negative. So even tho there are straight men that mistreat and spread stds they still don't get a bad rep because of the aformented.

What honestly bothers me is that people have a tendency to believe that bisexuals are more promiscuous than straights are gays. In the end, it just means they'll be happy with practically anything they end up with, it doesn't mean they're going to go after more people.

Woman in general are allowed to express themselves more then men. In our clothing choices, hobbies, and apparently even our sexuality. Really it just dates back to men being held to a higher standard, you need to do this and that in order to be considered a "real man". Women are allowed to wear pants, men aren't allowed to wear dresses. Actually that might have to do with it being okay to act like a boy, but not like a girl. Let's go to the good sis Madonna for some insight
Girls can wear jeans
And cut their hair short
Wear shirts and boots
'Cause it's OK to be a boy
But for a boy to look like a girl is degrading
'Cause you think that being a girl is degrading

I don't care for the whole "don't use any labels for sexuality, it's all fluid" cause, but I do feel too many people feel a need to attach a label to themselves at young ages. Most out people I knew in high school did a similar come out as bi at 13, retract to gay a few years later.
If less people felt the need to do that (and accepted not knowing what label they "are" for a while) it would lessen that stigma towards bisexual people. I imagine many people are probably generalizing as I know one bi person who later came out as gay so that must be everyone.
It's such a difficult thing to approach though, since anyone who felt the need to come out as bi before gay to them it was a step towards accepting themselves, so it's a much larger cultural thing.

I wouldn't be sure about it, if a woman comes out as bisexual they will deem her as a **** or some lesbian just in case she can't find a men.

A good example is Grindr, guys put "Masc looking for similar". If you are not masculine then the only action you will get if with your hand because everyone wants a dreamy, full testosterone piece of meat.

I'm appalled at how many people generalize the LGBT community, like yourself. Plenty of gay people "get it." Don't let some ignorant people who are under the umbrella give the whole LGBT community a bad name.
We already get generalized all the time by outsiders, why are we doing it on the inside as well?

He's a troll.
Don't listen to him at all. He's the type that gives us Bisexuals a bad reputation for being nothing but ****s.

What's wrong with being a **** though? Pick your battles wisely. So much energy is wasted when it comes to sexual politics.

My chosen-family father, Frankie, broke up with his boyfriend because his boyfriend came out as bi back in 2010; it was a giant mess, but I'm finally glad I got him to see things better. He still will take an occasional stab at bis, but is usually respectful.
