Not true.
A majority of people are cisgender (Identifying with the gender/sex they were born with), but having a penis doesn't force anyone to believe they are actually male and having a vagina doesn't force anyone to believe or live as a woman. That's kind of the whole point of being trans*, I mean...

Yeah but homosexuality is prevalent in all species, transgenders are not

I have difficulty wrapping my head around it, but, I don't feel that people are "wrong" for how they feel and what they are.
It doesn't harm me or anyone else and if it makes them happy, then, wonderful.

This simplification is absolutely not what being transgendered is.

There are a lot of issues I feel strongly about that are related to my religion, but I see no reason why I should feel differently about this than homosexuality. It's their life, who am I to tell them what they can and can't do?

God is a social construct. You should believe in biology and psychology.

I actually know Carmen, when he was a boy - we used to go out every weekend, we were part of the same house, "House of Carrera;" when I found out he was transitioning, which was inevitable - one of the reasons I moved away from the scene in New York - I was a bit taken aback, I was like, oh Chris, I mean as you are surrounded by the scene it totally engulfs you and grabs you in - I can't honestly say that Chris was one to dip in to the TG world, that's why I was taken aback, but, at the end of the day - it is his body and I respected his decision - I bid him good luck when I saw him in Houston, he was happy to see me - actually surprised, his promoters thought I was just another fan - but it was more than that..
to sum it all up, my take - to each their own!

You have a lot of audacity to imply "god died" for people to have downs syndrome, missing limbs, and a plethora of other mental/body disorders.

People don't "choose" to feel like a woman in mans body. It's just something that happens, it's just the way the feel about themselves and they did not put that upon themselves. Why the HELL would we discriminate against someone for WHO THEY ARE. Being transgender is indeed a part of you are and it disgusts that some people cannot recognize that.

You do realize this was the general consensus among psychologists about gay people like 30 years ago, right?
Honestly, the ignorance here is staggering.

As long as they don't affect my life negatively, I don't care. Let them live their lives happily.
I wish homophobic people understand this too.

but not everyone believes in God or his principles, there are so many sects of religion. How are you so sure yours is 100% right. And it's funny God died for us yet gave us how many mental and physical disorders

And? Gender dysphoria is the closest you can get to a "mental illness" related to being transgender. Actually being trans* is not a mental illness.

Pretty much.

Also, I saw a documentary on people who are transgendered and I not only found it very educational but also eye opening.
It's sad how they're not fully accepted within the LGBT community. Which is quite odd considering gays are ridiculed as well, but, I won't get into that tonight.

Idk, I guess I can just say I don't understand the point/intent of changing your body if you were born a certain way. But they can do them.
