I can't at that same fanbase letting Applause down its first week( I mean, she had Ariana Grande like numbers). I'm sure her debut numbers will be strong but still... Such a large fanbase should have easily propelled Applause to the top. The only reason ARTPOP's debut week seems shaky is due to Applause's performance.

I think she needs more promo if she wants bigger numbers. The only promo I've seen is the VMAs and "Gaymergencies" on Logo.

This is really early prediction that is influenced by the Pre Order and probably Applause numbers. She will crack 500k for sure especially with the Itunes fest that she will perform new songs + they'll probably put 2nd single October + the promo for the album hasn't even started + She has an ART RAVE on the 10th of November ...

And I think Katy may sell 400k but that will be at most.

I find it hard to believe lady gaga will do that well. Her single sales are top low for her album to do that well.

Eminem never really needed singles to push album sales. He will do extremely well regardless of how hard his singles flop.

As of Gaga, 400k is still a very good number, I don't think people were expecting her to pull Born This Way numbers again (with discounts or not, this is not in discussion). I do think she'll do good her first week even if Applause did not meet up earlier expectations...

And bringing Katy to the discussion as people have, she'll probably do better than Teenage Dream, but I don't think she'll have astronomical numbers, tho.
