This is why I'll never stop loving this woman. What a great, heartfelt, inspiring letter. It's great that she's (finally) aware of what's happening around her and what she said felt really sincere, coming from an honest place. I'm happy that she's in a happy place in her life right now.
For the next record, I truly hope that she takes her own advice and makes music that she really feels and loves. It's awesome that's she's already writing - that part got me really excited.
I'm expecting great things from Christina. I hope this is the meaning of a new chapter in her life and music.
Loved the letter - I actually read all of it, lol - and loved the LTBL video. Wish she had released it sooner, though.
Anywayz, I kinda feel like she's given up in this industry. TBH, with 'Lotus' she was already showing signs of "not caring" about this anymore, hence the close to zero promo after 'Your Body' bombed and 'Just A Fool' failed on radio - I mean, she didn't even shoot a video.
However, I must say I understand her, and it's terribly sad to see that all these girls who started so early in the business completely loathe everything that surrounds "success" now, cause in a way I kinda feel guilty for pushing them away like this, even if it's pretty obvious they mostly blame the media and stuff.
Well, I guess now we all just have to hope she comes back with something that reflects more herself than her label's desperation for a hit... And I think she will manage to do it.
