Music News: Little Mix working with Janet Jackson producers on new album

Little Mix have released a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their new album.

The girl group have been recording new material in Los Angeles with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who have previously worked with the likes of Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Usher.

Little Mix recently revealed that their new album will hear them take a more R&B approach to their music.

Producers Jam and Lewis have been responsible for 16 US Number Ones, including Janet Jackson's classic hit 'All For You'.

Little Mix's new album - which serves as the follow-up to 2012's DNA - is expected to be released later this year.

I loved that DNA had sprinkles of R&B and funk influences, so I'm really glad that the new album will be headed into that direction a little more.

They produced pretty much every Janet album since Control except for Discipline. They weren't very noticeable on 20 Y.O. either so that's probably why her last two albums flopped.

I'm actually not sure when their last hit was or what the last thing they worked on was but I'm sure they still got it in them. I'm realllly excited to see what they gonna be able to do with a girl group.
