That's something I also ask myself. I've been years reading this board -though I don't post much- and there are really smart people here! I would love to have debates/discussions with fellow members about anything even if it's music, people here are capable of having great discussions with valid arguments.
In all honesty though, I think this site is full of people below 20, me being one (for only less than 2 weeks ) and I'm not sure that they can all handle discussions in a mature way.
In one of the Trayvon/Zimmerman threads you had intelligent people who were wanting to actually have a good discussion and then you had people throwing around racial slurs and using the heated atmosphere as an opportunity to troll. A few bad apples always spoil the bunch.
