What: A black and nude Christopher Kane dress with a cobweb motif, from Resort 2014 and nude, patent leather pumps.
Why: A spider web frock would seem costume-y in October; in August, it looks moody and ethereal. And Blanchett wisely had the dress lined (it was originally shown sheer) to avoid the show-and-tell her less sophisticated colleagues seem to favor.
