I don't necessarily hate the song, it's definitely my least favorite of hers. It's just a toned down version of You Oughta Know. (I'm not one to accuse everyone of ripping off each other but Lbr they're the same song). If she was gonna do a very similar song to YOK, I would have rather had Acid Annie be an improvement to it, or like a more intense version, but Acid Annie's just a simpler version
I'm a huge Alanis fan and very familiar with YOK and I never once even thought the 2 were that similar until you said something, and I still don't. AA is very much its own song.

I hear more resemblance to Erotica by Madonna then Acid Annie from YOK Nothing alike imo
