I just BOUGHT this song on iTunes (I don't usually buy) because I think the indian bits bring something really unique (honestly I could do w/o Pitbull)
She needs to come back to the US to promote when she's done promoting her films. When she was interviewed on E! News, the song jumped on iTunes and it needs that same push now.

I think the best we can hope for is "We Run the Night" type of run, but even that's a stretch.
I think it's her fault. Of course it's difficult for a non-white foreigner to crack the US, but she's been given a lot of opportunities and connections despite the fact. She was named the the NFL's headlining act, but has yet to perform at any NFL events or anywhere for that matter (and always has an excuse not to). Other new artists would give up a limb for a platform like that. I think the issue is that she's just an actress (a good one), but she can't actually sing that well or dance. It's a shame that other RedOne artists like Porcelain Black that can do those things will never get the opportunities she has.
If they don't want her to actually perform, they should just release EDM songs like this where major performances aren't required:
she really has to focus on one thing though.. if she thinks she can balance making movies, making music, and doing promo she's crazy.. promo takes time.. and concerts, and live performances.. she just doesn't put the effort in for that.. balancing too many things at once if you ask me.. that's probably the reason
