worshipping certain celebrities that really dont care about them anyway?

I'm really asking a question here to peer into human psyche. I don't want answers of more sheeple and celebrity worshippers telling me I'm jealous, or cynical, and that these people truly "are superior" I want to know why human beings are being worshipped like they are truly gods.

What is the reason?

One reason is that the people doing the worshipping have very little going on in their own lives so they fantasize about celebrity life.

Because we recognize pieces of ourselves in them that we are afraid to show. So, we look up to them and seek affirmation through their creativity and success.

You are right. It is better. But dont you have a life purpose? Something to live for other than worshipping another human being that is fullfulling his/her potential?

We attract ourselves to people that make us happy, and especially those we most relate to, admire and respect.

I don't mind stanning as much as the amount of hateful drags that go on ATRL. Support an artist you like all you want but don't dedicate so much energy into hate.
