Real tea. A few weeks after starships debuted top 10 they changed the chart methodology to include other factors that kept her in the top 10 like streaming. Had the song been released two months prior it wouldn't have the record. If it were released a month later then it wouldnt have had the record.
Although its a part of my iconic stats...she really lucked out with the changes of the methodology keeping her in the top 10 when otherwise she'd would have fallen top 15/20. Basically her releasing a new song in February where next to no one was is an accidental genius and maroon 5s song almost took it from her.
With the new changes it might be impossible for it to be broken.

Does anyone else feel like Young Forever was a Katy Perry demo Dr. Luke gave to Nicki? It is very similar lyrically to Teenage Dream (the song) tbh.

The most noteworthy similarity deals with the titles. Katy sings "We can dance until we die / You and I, we'll be young forever" and Nicki sings "I never knew, only as a teen / You'd re-appear, only in my dreams".
