I don't even care about Christina, but I find 'Bionic' a very good album. I love its style, its music and its artwork. Too bad it didn't last.

The album is **** whether it flopped or not. End of.
It's only good for "Monday Morning".

wait
you consider it "suspicious" when more than a handful of people have a different opinion than you?

The album really was awful. It wasn't cohesive and dragged on. I bought it first day and checked her site every day for updates, but I was really disappointed in the end.

It's so funny hearing people say Bionic was generic. It's not surprising that the people saying it are all kind of copying each other's opinion. Even more interesting when you see who they stan for, perhaps not too familiar with the definition of generic.
Monday Morning, Birds of Prey, Little Dreamer, Bionic, Glam, Elastic Love, I Am, Bobblehead, WooHoo, My Girls are "generic" songs? Really? You can hate the songs all you want, but you wanna slip that into the definition of GENERIC pop music? There's a few that you could question - but even then, they're not really generic at all.
Embarrassing, I think they may be confusing Bionic and Lotus. Or just regurgitating information as per usual. Even Not Myself Tonight is so oddly structured that I have trouble consider it a generic pop song. The only song I think is beyond generic on the album is I Hate Boys.

Little Dreamer
Birds of Prey
Monday Morning
I Am
Lift Me Up
You Lost Me
Sex for Breakfast
All I Need
My Girls
Woohoo
Prima Donna
I SEE NO FLAWS.
Bionic was Xtina's last true reinvention. Lotus is generic as **** I would have preferred if she hadn't released it.

The only bad things about Bionic are "Vanity", "My Girls" & "I Hate Boys".
Everything else on the album is just amazing to me. It really isn't a generic album and it, honestly, stands out from the pop albums released in 2010.
I wouldn't call it pop perfection, but it certainly isn't pop fluff either.

It's a bad album tho. There's a reason why it was her first album to have 0 Grammy nominations. It also had a -60 Metacritic score.

It's a good album. As long as "You Lost Me" exists, your fave is useless vocally.
Ugh, so a good album. I remember playing it in the car and my friends daughter said "Elastic Love" was the best song ever..she was only like 9 or 10. Then my friend asked why they don't play any of her new music on the radio.

The difficulty y'all seem to have believing that other people can have a different opinion than you

It has some filler yes, but it's not a bad album by any means. WooHoo, Glam, Desnudate, Elastic Love, and the iconic Bobblehead >>>>>>>>

There's a difference between having an opinion and being confused. The adjective doesn't fit the subject at all. It's like me saying "Bionic is all country music". You can scream about having an opinion all you want, but most people are just going to be starring at you like, "... .... I think you're a tad bit confused about something here".

I'm someone who doesn't take a shining whatsoever to "generic" music, so I too get a puzzled look on my face when Bionic is considered as such. Even if some beats are used in it touches on the generic side of the spectrum, her strong voice is what separates it from everyone else. Now, if someone said Lotus was generic (for the most part), I don't think I could disagree.

-60? No And the reason why it didn't get Grammy noms has nothing to do with quality. Grammys normally don't nominate albums that don't do well commercially. Educate yourself on your ignorance.
But anyway, I'm glad the majority of responses here recognize the quality of the album despite the commercial performance. A few years ago, people couldn't do that.

Bionic is a fantastic pop album and my favourite album by her. I'll admit there are some pretty typical pop tracks on there but there's also a lot of creativity. Bionic, Elastic Love, Monday Morning, Bobble Head, My Girls (feat, Peaches), Birds Of Prey and Little Dreamer are anything but generic. Then you have the Sia ballads which sound nothing like any of the ballads she's done before. Christina experimented with her voice in ways she never did before.
