Good for Eminem. I'm not a big fan anymore, but I love love love his first three albums, so I'm excited for MMLP2 and his success with this song (which I'm not huge on, but it doesn't matter)
Rihanna should have taken 1 year break since after LOUD.. that era was going so well!
but CLEARLY she isnt in the mood for break.. and Unapologetic was so good anyways, i say Bring It!
but yeah.. if she decides to take a break, build some hype, create a sense of anticipation around her album.. it'll perform much better, single and album sales-wise!
its not fair to Eminem!! i mean.. Berzerk is dioing incredibly well!! it has a frikkin 55% lead over Wrecking Ball.. but due to Katy and her damned never ending sales he's falling shot for that #1 spot!! Naht fair!!
poor Berzerk.. losing credit even with such stellar performance!
Katy should fall with Eminem till he stops and she continues falling till like a little above Wrecking Ball!!!
Roar is just being greedy tbh.. it should stabilise at the 250K level! Britney's coming soon and Eminem will graciously give her the space, i hope Katy concedes..
It comes with chart-watching experience. I was also actively comparing her percentages with other songs in the Top 10 at the time, not just Blurred Lines, and the numbers lined up for her to do around 400K. I just applied a more conservative margin of error, since I was off by around 23K the week before.
I don't see her selling above 400K anymore (exception: week of MV release.) Roar will most likely have multiple weeks of 300K+ sales instead. BL only sold over 400K that many times because of its innate advantage of having the urban audience's sales.
When did Urban audiences start buying singles (to that extent)?
