Selena Gomez looked like she couldn't resist making fun of the name on everyone's lips, Miley Cyrus while walking the red carpet of her new movie The Getaway in Los Angeles last night, following the We Can't Stop star's disastrous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.
The 21 year-old, who looked stunning in a floral mini-dress and messy up-do, pulled an erratic face and stuck her tongue out to the side, much like the favoured pose of Cyrus, which has been much mocked online with parodies and GIFs following her car-crash performance on Sunday night.
Gomez was in the audience on the night and was seen watching in horror with BFF Taylor Swift, who did less well to hide her giggles as she covered her mouth in shock as the peroxide blonde twerked across the stage and rubbed herself against fellow performer Robin Thicke, who was attempting to duet with her on his mega hit Blurred Lines.
Following the performance Sel insisted she'd really enjoyed Miley's energetic routine. Speaking backstage to E! News,
Selena insisted it was a great performance from Miley and was her favourite moment of the entire show: "I really thought the collaboration with Miley was amazing… Loved [it]," Gomez declared.
She added of Thicke failing to win any major awards: "I thought Robin should have won!"
The brunette, who picked up a Moonman herself on Sunday night for single Come And Get It, walked the red carpet alongside co-star Ethan Hawke for her new movie.
The red carpet appearance comes as the 21 year-old confirms she'll be working on her acting career rather than music for the next few years.
And even she thinks that she might be back sooner than she planned, with Gomez adding: "I'm a woman so I change my mind all the time. One day I want to do acting and just that, and then other times I just want to do music and just that, so it changes."
