So i went on Amazon.co.uk and saw that ARTPOP had this for the cover:



Then i looked at Prism, and this was the cover:



Thinking they were just placeholder images and that it's not official I chatted with an Amazon rep:

They said these were both the official album covers that the record companies sent them. I will update with the transcript of the chat once they email it to me

Gaga's is a sure possibility. I doubt Katy will have that.

what does the amazon rep truly know?
capitol and interscope probably just sent those for amazon to put up while the albums are on pre-order preceding the real covers.

I wouldn't mind that being the ARTPOP cover. The picture is stunning.

I HOPE that's the ARTPOP cover. It's the absolute best pic of her this era.

But I doubt these are the final covers. The rep is probably misinformed because these are likely just placeholders that the labels sent.

I don't like knowing the covers until the artist releases them. The reveal is one of the most exciting parts of the era.

I would LOVE for that to be the Artpop cover. Why? Because it's perfect, it's totally Lady Gaga and it's tasteful.

As for Prism, I doubt that Katy or her label would allow that to be the cover. She'll bring something more creative.

Both would be good as album covers but I hate the font on Katy's. I want something new / fresh closer to the release date.

That'd be a nice cover for ARTPOP, but I'm sure Katy has better for PRISM.

They HAVE to be wrong. I'm fairly certain it was confirmed that that promo pic of Gaga's wasn't the album cover for ARTPOP. And Katy's album covers are usually much more visually appealing than that Prism promo pic. I think the Amazon rep is simply mistaken. Kudos on your sleuthing, though, Little Detective

Those are most likely placeholders.

I love everything about that cover except that tacky font.

I really hope that's the cover for ARTPOP, or at lest something to the likes of it. That pic of Katy is flawless, I ish it were possible for it to be the Prism cover.
