madonna in that era is not doing what that thing is doing now. miley wants to shed the goody two shoe disney princess image by acting ghetto/ratchet and trolling. madonna had no good girl image in the first place and was trolling/controversial from the beginning so erotica is hardly as transparent as bangerz is.
madonna also had urban appeal (hate that phrase) her entire career and it didnt start with erotica. she has worn grillz in 1989/1990 predating erotica era, dressing ghetto was done before that too. her iconic 80s fishnet/ hairbow/crucifix/lace glove look was considered a ghetto look at the time as well.
Blah Blah Blah by the Ka$hier kinda slays. I used to hate it but I've come to realise it's one of her best songs.

Does anyone else have an artist they used to totally stan for and now hardly even listen to? When I was 14-15 I stanned HARD for Justin Bieber. I bought his albums, songs, music videos. Created lyric videos for YouTube, talked to beliebers all the time on twitter, co-owned a Bieber twitter fanpage, watched interviews/listened to radio interviews regularly. What was I even doing!? Don't judge me .
