Yes, if promoted correctly. Rated R, although perfect for Rih at that point in her life, was before it's time. It could have been much more successful today.

If you're talking about the US, it may do just as the same as it has did. But RR is a worldwide smash. It underperformed only in the US but still a top 10 hit. The Rated R era even if it's cut short is perfect as it is. I can only dream of Rihanna topping that era visually and sonically.

Yes her videos were everything. Russian Roulette. Hard. Te Amo and Rude Boy were all visually beautiful.

In the loud era some nudes of her leaked and she posted "Yeah, that's me when I was skinny.". Also on The BTS of the Armani campaign she said that she was excited they'd make her look skinny. She also used to constantly suck on her stomach in photoshoots.

I used to say I want her thickness back but I think she loves her new weight.

My faves are the neck stars and tribal hand. I thought she lost her damn mind when she got thug life. Praise the lord it was done in white ink. And even though her Gran Gran dolly tatt is special to her i think its too big for its placement.

Interesting. That might also be one of the reasons she wore so many high-waisted bottoms during that time? But I honestly don't see Rih being the type to obsess about her weight, especially being a black girl where our community is more embracing of curves. It's pretty likely to me that she dropped all of the weight when her schedule became so hectic in 2012.

She's been beautiful at all sizes, but I do think right now her body is the best it's ever looked. Nice and toned, but still with a healthy amount of meat on her bones. But she'd be gorgeous no matter what the scale says.

Now that you mentioned RudeBoyy, I agree about the weight thing. I never paid attention. But I think she does want to gain some weight (said multiple time on IG) I remember how she got bloated during the beginning of TTT era.. bloated to the point people thought she was pregnant. She wanted to lose the weight and lost more than expected. Let's say she was a size 6... she wanted to become size 3 but ended up being size 00.

Anyway remember when Piers Morgan and Rihanna dragged each other and that ended up with an inventation to his show?

At the beginning of the next era it would be interesting to see Rihanna take that offer. I mean Oprah being followed by Diamonds and Stay did change the mind of many on Rihanna as a PERSON. It would be nice if she did an interview and Piers would ask her something like "what do you think on people saying you're a ****" or "what do you think about people who says you're a puppet" "do you have any input" "did you do yearly release because you were forced?" stuff like that and for Rihanna to ACTUALLY answer and not say something like "they ain't *****, they ain't know who I ****" and change people mind on Rihanna the ARTIST. She should do it and then release something like RR (not the material but the fact it was the era she had the most input). I KNOW PEOPLE STILL GOING TO HATE but it would be nice to see Rihanna just clock everyone and it would be an interesting interview compared to the typical interview where they ask her the same questions over and over and also NO QUESTION ON CB only on Rihanna the ARTIST and oh talk more in depth of her childhood and all that. We don't MUCH about that, we just know bits and pieces it would be nice to get the whole picture.
