She never denied that she wasn't signed, plus during the whole Q&A she was pretty vague with her answers almost like she was under contract. It would also explain Jared's instagram picture http://i.imgur.com/7vd999b.jpg. I am almost 100% she is signed and we are just awaiting that official confirmation of an announcement/press release.
I would love it if she released the album independently, but I doubt she would go that route.
Me too. However, the album does sound promising. She said lyrics are very important, so in getting a EDM album, it will be more along the lines of Robyn (who she also stated was one of her favourite singers).

Looking back at her music, it always was, so it's not that surprising. But there's always that "oh ****... Is she gonna go generic, party dance music?" So thankfully she isn't.
I'm pretty sure I'll love whatever she releases. But I just hope it's not generic.
It won't be. I think we can trust her judgement. Based on who she said she's listening to now, it was more indie pop type artists. I see that probably being the direction she goes in. Like Ellie Gouding.
