Justin Timberlake has commented on Miley Cyrus‘ much buzzed about 2013 MTV VMAs performance, comparing her to the likes of ex-girlfriend Britney Spears and Madonna.
“Madonna: Wedding suit, humping the stage. Britney: Strip tease,” Justin told a CBS affiliate. “This is not an uncommon thing. I actually thought all the bears were really cool!”
“Listen, man, you know, it’s the VMAs. What did you guys expect?,” Justin added. “I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she’s young. She’s letting everyone know that she’s growing up. I just think it’s the VMAs. It’s not like she did it at the GRAMMYs. Let her do her thing. You know?”
I dont think anyones positive public opinion can save miley from the backlash she got, it'll just go away within time and she'll recover with a new music video or something
There was nothing wrong with Miley's performance nor was it inappropriate. I just hated how ugly her outfit was, like I wish she would've worn the outfit she had on in her VMA commercial but sexed up a bit. That would've been perfect and slayed for the Gods.
