katy had a string of 7(?) #1's hits while Gaga had one #1, 2 hits and 2 flops. TD should have sold much more than it did. which is why i think Gaga will sell more since she doesnt rely on a load of hits. However, nobody though Roar would smash like it did so katy could prove me wrong once again.
But One Of The Boys sold 1.5M+ with 2 hits, i think 8 multi-platinum singles can hurt your album sales at some point. I mean if you include Peacock sales (500k+) many people listened to 70% of her album just buying her songs on iTunes. 2.7M+ are still impressive and is one of the bestselling albums of the 10's.

Selena Gomez was #1 on iTunes preorders and she couldn't sell 100k. Physical Sales are still bigger than digital sales. Top 3 on iTunes USA = 30k.

No, I think that Gaga's app will definitly get the GP buying at least a part of it to experience it and later on buy the whole album if they like it which I think is about a 50% possibility.
