Her vocals over the backtrack were off too. Too pitchy probably because of too much movement. To me, she always looks out of her element when she is dancing.

Beyonce and her stage presence are untouchable. Even at her very worst she's still easily triumphing over other girls. This is simply a fact.

Y'all are over-analyzing the Gaga performance way too much. The backing track covered the parts where she wasn't at her best vocally and that's enough for the GP. She was hitting the choreography and looked great, and gave a good performance. She's gotten nothing but positive buzz/press since the show, and the audience in the arena was LIVING for it.

Miley sort of knocked Britney's "memorable" VMA performances off the map. And she made Gaga classy again. True power!
Not really, she made people appreciate Britney's truly iconic performances even more. I thank her for that, Britney's getting more headlines than most of the actual performers.

She should only do choreography when she isn't singing tbh, like during the A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E parts. And just do little moves while she is singing (like in that Paparazzi performance).
