Think about this logically. Lady Gaga could have a group like Lady Antebellum or a drag queen like Lady Bunny for all she knew. There really was no context in that article, as to whether Christina had even seen a picture of her. Lady Gaga fans just assumed she was being shady, but history has shown that Christina is often not aware of many up and coming artist or pop culture (Ariana Grande, Rebecca Black) or even many popular songs on mainstream radio.
