The fact that she still has understanding and respect for the religion, after all the atrocities they told her, is amazing. I would never be able to say kind words about that institution, especially if they treated me that way.
What Mary Lambert feels more or less is the same with what I feel. I just think that people in church are confused and we need to give better understanding to them. SOME (if not most) of them are actually really nice people!
I agree it's messy to me and I don't use it personally. But I know it enhances a lot of peoples lives and can produce a lot of good at times so I just say to each their own. As long as you're not trying block my rights that affect you in no way, shape, or form.
