Wrecking Ball is just a pre-order track and We Can't Stop not moving after so many months is a great thing. The GP was already onto her before the VMAs

I really do think it immensely hurt Miley. Before the awards, her whole "ratchet" vibe was generally well-received because it wasn't too ****ty or off-putting. We Can't Stop was a summer favorite. But because of her performance, she's getting so much negative press and that's going to hurt her in some way. Also, Wrecking Ball was doing amazing on iTunes before the performance, and now it's free falling.
