His "art" was him taking commercial prints, mass-producing them in a factory and then re-coloring them.

He was great because he revealed how ignorant and stupid the world is about fame and celebrities. Like, the man was a genius. And yet he had an IQ of like 70.

I guess it's true, generic art/music always comes on top.

He knew what he was doing, too. The man pretty much admitted he wasn't a huge talent and everything he did was incredibly superficial. He was just really ironic, really, really ironic.

Exactly. "Art is what you can get away with" quote defines him perfectly. The obvious mockery irony in nearly everything he was doing is what makes it so brilliant. Its astonishing how many people still dont get it tho.
