Discussion: When did you stan for Katy?

So, when did you stan for Miss Perry?

I loved IKAG but I didn't think anything of her (I was too into Gaga back then). But I had all of her singles on my iPod.

Then in early 2010 Thinking of You came on my shuffle on my iPod and I started stanning for it immediately. CG and TD were released which were infectious bops, but I wasn't a stan yet.

Then I heard Firework and it made me download Teenage Dream + One of the Boys.

I've been a ~~KatyCat~~ tiger ever since.

I'd say I got started with Ur So Gay. I saw the video on youtube and I really loved it - but I didn't hear about her after that. Then a few months later, I saw I Kissed A Girl video and I loved it. I never outright saw Katy and said "I will stan", I have just always liked what she puts out and I'm always excited to see what else she will come up with.

I have yet to stan for Katy. I only LOVE one album/era by hers, it's gonna take more than that. I only stanned for Madonna in my life, and I stopped last year so I'm probably never gonna stan for Katy or anyone else. But I did become a fan when Firework got released

I've liked her since IKAG but I didn't stan for her until the video for Cali Gurls was released. I expected a boring beach video but she gave me that Candyfornia masterpiece. Then I read an interview from her where she discussed how she came up with the idea and I fell in love with her personality.

I was a massive stan during 2010-2011. But then I got Katy Perry fatigue so I stopped listening to her for a while. I'm still not a stan, but I still love Katy Perry and I'm really excited for Prism. Who knows, I might stan again if Prism is amazing as Teenage Dream

I've been listening to TD (the album) everyday since 2010... I know I'm a stan, lmao.
But I guess it really started happening when she released TOTGA as a single... a song I never really paid any attention to but somehow as a single allowed me to get really into it. It stands as my favourite song of hers to this day, with TOY close behind.

I don't stan for her but I really like her song and I love Katy. I felt in love with her ever since I heard Hot & Cold. I played that song for MONTHS and I've loved all of her songs since then.
