I love the way this interview was conducted, her whole energy throughout it, and the way she spoke in closing it out.
She had such sophistication, poise and an effortless way of being humble and dope simultaneously.
The first song I ever learned how to dance to was, "Are You That Somebody?". I will never forget the way the song, her vocals, the production made me feel when I first heard it.
I think there is a lot to be learned from Aaliyah's short time on Earth, professionally, personally, and spiritually. RIP Baby Girl.
Tbh I don't get her significance? One or two of her songs were good....
Never the less R.I.P
Are you f****** serious?
Anyway, I still listen to her on a daily basis. She was one of the first musicians I obsessed over and I started listening to her when I was like 4 hahaha. My fave song by her now is probably "We Need a Resolution" but I love that whole album.
This is crazy because I had the need to listen to I Care 4 You all yesterday, I still remember this being on the news about her death I was crying and I still don't know why but I guess I was a fan back the. (At the age of 6)
