Catch My Breath is definitely an underdog here and I don't expect a nom for it, but Kelly is very respected in the industry (see her Stronger album Grammy win) and she has a lot of support from the Country crowd that might vote for her to get a nom so don't underestimate her.

I'd be ecstatic if she got a nom, just not expecting it.

And zero acclaim? Hm, the critics beg to differ:

"The song has received positive reception from music critics, with most of them commending the song's uplifting theme and lyrical content. Yeah. Uhh. Sadly Damien knows absolutely nothing about the Grammy's since he's thinking impact and sales have everything to do with them. Esperanza Spalding, anyone? The Grammy's have given nods to hugely successful records of course, but that's not all that it's about. If you have a lot of industry respect, you'll get far.

I already said I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get nominated, I'm not even expecting it to. I said that's what I'd LIKE to see.

No one thought Stronger would win Best Pop Vocal Album last year and it did so... bye.
