For the feminist discussion:

Any group is going to have corruption, that's just the nature of a large group. On top of that, there are many different forms of feminism.

I will say that it is good to not wrap yourself up too much in one community and spread yourself out or else you begin to see things and an out of proportion and unrealistic way. Too many groups only are friends with other feminists in the community, take their major as gender studies, etc etc to the point where it gets to be too much and they live in their own little world and that's where you get the problems you see now.

FYI if a girl thinks that girls should be better than men, then she's not a feminist no matter what she calls herself.

Also modern day feminism is actually less problematic. In the 70's(second wave feminism) the major belief was that being girly and liking girly things was anti-feminist and there was a huge exclusion of people of color in the movement. Not to mention the Transphobia.

Imo, all kinds of isms don't matter if you are a ****. Treat people right, or just like how you want to be treated. That's the most important, being good to people. If one hasn't succeeded at doing that, one should NOT preach about what others should do.

Country gal Taylor Swift got a taste of the big city life at the 2009 VMAs, performing "You Belong With Me" on the uptown F train before emerging from the subway and climbing on top of a taxi. Swift was riding high from the innovative performance, until Kanye West proceeded to bring her down a peg later that night with his "I'm gonna let you finish..." rant.
