I stan for her music first and foremost, but she also happens to be one of the most successful female artists of all time. I love it

Stanning for success is pathetic. I literally don't care about charts at all and I only support artists because I think they produce quality music.

I stan for Katy because I enjoy her music, I also love her personality and she is such a genuine, lovely person. I guess the success is just an added bonus If she became a flop, I'd still stan for her because I love her so much as a person and enjoy her music.

artistry i guess, the success of the music doesn't matter to me, or when it was released.

Their is nothing wrong with that TBH.

Judging the quality of music by when it was released... yeah there kinda is. Its one thing if you're into old songs, but its another to pretty much generalize all of today's music as lacking quality. To each their own though.
