This is the issue. Your experience with that person has nothing to do with your experience with the next person, and it certainly has nothing to do with me. If you want my money, treat me like the INDIVIDUAL that I am.
The logic that you used above is the same line of thought held by people that commit housing discrimination("We don't want [insert race here] in our neighborhood because they're known to [insert stereotype here]"), as well as hiring discrimination("We don't hire [insert race here] because they are known to [insert stereotype here]").
