Mrs. Perry revealed today two snippets: Dark Horse and Walking On Air, cute pop songs but I can't help they sound like something that would be in another TD re-release. So what are your thoughts on this two songs. Do they sound like a rehashed TD or do they sound like something never heard before released by Katy?
They don't sound like Teenage Dream. WOA is way more electro/dance than any of BTW, and Dark Horse is heading into some very experimental pop/r&b territory.
As long as Katy is still working with Luke, which doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon, since at this point he's like her security blanket, her material is going to sound basic and like an extension of Teenage Dream.
Katy is not innovative, even though I do like her music. Her singles will always sound kinda similar, although they're usually great. But Prism is not a TD's re-release, it's a different era.
