No, no it says "wake." In the article, Kara DioGuardi, who wrote the song, claimed that they changed some lyrics to make it appropriate for Hilary and that it was originally "wet."
What a fantastic article! I loved reading this. I still can't believe it's been a whole decade. I was 12! Time flies way too fast! Queen Hilary paved the way for Selena and the other Disney girls that followed her. Her impact is so clear.
I had a little tear running down my face when I read the article celebrating 10 years of Metamorphosis, it was beyond a great read. I loved the quotes about the impact of Hilary and the album and how they BOTH changed the music industry for teen artists and especially Disney related artists, it was also really nice to read how the people who worked on the album had such positive things to say about Hilary and her work ethic. Andre's quote about how Hilary still gets YouTube views and how the comments are is SPOT on, I see he is checking out the videos and seeing how the fans feel. Haylie's quote is the truth, Hilary is so well liked that it's not even funny, I LIVE and this is why I stan.
Metamorphosis is such a good teen pop album. At time, it was the definition of the children/teen audience wanted with nice pop rock bops and it was kind revolutionary also because if I'm not mistaken it was the first album released by a Disney star ...even I prefer her self-titled album though
I still remember watching Why Not and So yesterday all the time on Disney Channel.
