It was actually supposed to be one of those "Pre-order Only" tracks that iTunes used to do (such an insanely stupid idea). So I pre-ordered a digital copy of the album just for Little Dreamer, but sometime around the release of the album, they changed it to an iTunes-only bonus track that you could get whenever.

Can you imagine if Bionic was released the way it was intended to be. We would have had a much better single than Not Myself Tonight. I loved that song but there were so many better tracks to introduce her vision to the world.

Oh and I had never heard Little Dreamer before, I'm such a flop stan. I just bought the Deluxe version in a store for this album. It would have have smashed as a single! It's unfortunate that the GP doesn't know this song exists.

Agree with this so much! One thing I really like about Christina that no one has done is have her ballads extremely well produced. They have great, almost classical sounding string arrangements and the drums are real, or at least realistic sounding drum samples for the most part. Almost everyone else uses obviously fake drums in their ballads and cheap piano samples

So for Light Up The Sky to breakaway from that organic formula makes me wonder if Christina just wasn't into this album as much, or didn't have the control/budget she wanted for a more fleshed out arrangement
