Well erotica came out AFTER the sex book so it was a marketing disaster.
She even said it should have been released beforehand. Bedtime stories was a critically acclaimed album. It just wasn't radio friendly...its a shame that both albums didn't do well for the time eventually it sold over time and both got past 2x platinum and 6m ww. For her, it was bad.
