We really need to discuss this. No one is sure! Demi's never told us! Her producers haven't mentioned anything! We gotta discuss what she is if we're ever gonna figure out her full vocal range.
I'll make a thread/poll when I have permission to create a thread. Discuss? What is she?
Edit: Forget to say what I think she is and why.
I think she's a Mezzo-Soprano, or more specifically a Coloratura Mezzo-Soprano.
Why? Because she always sings in the middle of her range. B4-F5. Belting range. She has remarkably powerful, robust and resonant belts that can sustain without wavering pitch for a long time. See 13 second B4 in Don't Forget at the Perez Hilton One Night In LA bash. Also she can hit extreme low notes on a good day that for a Soprano should be impossible. See well supported C#3 in Neon Lights. Furthermore she has very little range or control of a head voice. Even falsetto seems to be a struggle for her. See My Love Is Like A Star live performances. Which every Soprano should be able to produce without effort. So for me she's just a very rare and capable Coloratura Mezzo-Soprano.

For me she's Full-lyric because:
-The size of her voice matches with that
-Her voice is bright, even the C#3 in Neon Lights doesn't sound dark enough for a Mezzo
-Lower notes than F3 are naturally difficult for her
-She can sing over mezzo tessitura, for example, she hits Numerous F5s all toghether in Get Back & Lightweight, G5s in heart attack at the end and 3 A5s live effortlessly
